CANNABIS AND CO-EVOLUTION
A Government Restricted Natural Process.
By Rocky van de Benderskum
For some time now, we Benderskum have advocated the notion of cannabis and co-evolution, not a very common concept, but something to be considered. Little or no proof positive can be gained from what I’ll tell you, but little or no reason exists for prohibition, so I feel I’m starting with a fairly solid footing.
Firstly, I need to take you on a journey back through time, to a while before we Homo sapiens emerged. Our precendents, Homo erectus and homo habilis migrated, we think out of Africa up into the middle east and central Asia, where incidentally cannabis grows freely, like all hunter gatherers they would have tried the newly found plant, became pleasantly stoned, in some way, and so began the long process of evolving.
About 150,000 years ago, early man started his domestication of the planet, followed very soon afterwards by cannabis. The utilisation of cannabis by man had begun, or maybe the utilisation of man by cannabis.
Over a long period of time, cannabis has changed from that earlier primitive intoxicant into ever stronger skunk weeds, in fact back in 1938 a certain Dr.James Munch was turned into a bat, Shit that must have been some powerful weed.
Anyway, back to the pre-history, these early humans would have likely come across some the same side effects as modern humans, I mean the more you smoke you either become productive, oh yes caners get productive too, or veg out.
You may think that we domesticated hemp, but I believe hemp domesticated us. Previous to it’s discovery all hominids were hunter gatherers, after we started settling down and started farming.
Could it be an accident that cannabis not only provided an intoxicant, but also the raw materials for textiles, building blocks, shields, cordage, lamp or cooking oils and so many other things.
It became such a part of human life that if you were to take someone from 3or 400 years ago into our modern world they wouldn’t believe you could live without hemp.
It became illegal, along with all other medications, for 1200 years, banned by the Roman Catholic Church. Yet still it flourished.
It’s no accident, that cannabis, even after centuries of persecution, is still with us today, it’s part of our evolution just as we are part of it’s evolution.
We even have cannabis receptors in our brain, that ain't no accident either.
So people of Britain And people of the world lets convince our governments to end this futile prohibition that not only damages our social stability but also our environment and economy.
Worse still with worldwide prohibition people who are starving can’t access the worlds most accessible famine food, source of clothing and shelter.
Lets all evolve together to a saner more peaceful world.
