crystal skulls from mexico

Pictured above is a specially commissioned crystal skull carved from a single block of natural quartz crystal.

An old Native American legend tells of 13 crystal skulls the size of human skulls that are said to contain 'embedded' information about the origins and destiny of humanity. According to the legend, one day, in a time of great crisis, all the crystal skulls would be rediscovered and brought together to reveal their information. The reason the crystals were made into skulls was so that they would not be cut up and destroyed.

Earlier this century a real crystal skull was discovered by a British explorer deep in the jungles of Central America. Since then several other crystal skulls have come to light.

Patrick Dunham-Roper discovered the story of the crystal skulls while travelling in Mexico. He commissioned the crystal skull (pictured top & above) in 2000. Life sized, it took almost a year to carve from a solid block of natural quartz crystal.

Country of origin:
Mexico (State of Guerrero).
Weight: approx 7 kilos.
Notes: The skull has an 'aura' and glows in daylight. The crystal is both clear and cloudy and is cold to touch.
